Comments:
The memories of first breaking 1000 Qs in a dx contest came back as I almost
broke 2000 in this one! Operating this contest as single op for the first time
in several years I learned several things. 1) After the luxury of shift work
from K4JA, I can still hang in there for the long hours 2) The station is fairly
competitive 3) I've finally gotten the KT36XA working as it should! 4) My top
band inverted L isn't as good at the T was! With the high l/p scores all being
in the 2.26 to 2.29M range, it's going to be interesting to see who else comes
out of the woodwork and how things stack up after logs are checked! While I miss
the comaraderie of the multi efforts, doing this single was plain fun (after
getting through Friday night!)
