Comments:

Rig: TS-870
Logging by TR & mighty Pentium 100MHz computer!
No Gain Antenna Farm:
 160m: none
 80m: see 40m
 40m: 40m dipole/vee, apex about 35'
 20/15/10m: Cushcraft D-3 trapped rotatable diple w/o rotator, 20-25'
high

Highlights:

Getting Wyoming on 4 bands! Thanks to W0ETT/m! Way to go Ken!

4 hours of > 90Q (but less than 100!)

working n4va! (one morse character different, the only other person that
close is n6vi whom I've worked a time or two.)

The 40m dipole at least getting out on 80m. I tried calling CQ and the
only answer I get was n2ic! I had plans for a real 80m antenna,
but needless to say, it didn't happen. I won?t bore you with the
details. Simply put, using a 40m antenna on 80m is NOT a good strategy!

Misc notes:

Started the contest 40 minutes late, that probably hurt my 10m qso and
mult count. Felt like I was late to every band after that. Two radio?s
would definitely help that feeling.

I think I've got next week reserved for phone, hope to see most of you
then!
