Comments:
First contest from my apartment in central Moscow, radiating a weak signal from
a 40m vertical dipole. Ten meters on Saturday was pretty spectacular for this
part of the world. Ten meters on Sunday was almost non-existent: a couple of
New England stations barely above the noise.
A great moment was beating a western European pileup on the VY1 on 15m Sunday
morning over the pole.
It sure was fun hearing everyone, especially during the fabulous 40m sunrise
opening Saturday morning: wow!
