My new 4 element monobander and rotor worked amazingly. Many thanks to Lali
VA3RU, who helped to put it up at 25 ft. 80% of the DX stations came back
to my first call, not bad for 5 Watts. CX1CCC was definitely an exception
to the rule. I kept trying his ears in the last 20 minutes until the
closing bell -- but no bonus. Should I spent smarter that time, I could
beat the score of Lali, my great rival and friend.
Why nobody answered my CQ-s remains a mystery...I guess it was not a QRPs
ONLY contest.
