Location: 9,000 ft. in moutains near Buena Vista, CO.
First ever single band effort. Wanted to try 40mtr beam and 756, both were
super. Tried to get on the DX Summit but never could access it. Hunting and
pouncing split band is unique and time consuming. Would be interested in
hearing from small single ops that called CQ and didn't hunt. Not sure if lousy
213 Q's is worth sending in. Excitement was Sunday AM as it was getting light
in the mountains, great opening to XX9,BA,DU,9V,KH8,T88,V8,9M,T30,YC,HL and
the usual 20/9 JA's. Great propagation on 40, can imagine the scores for 10 and
15 bands!
